About

Leland has represented individuals, families, small and large businesses, and governmental entities in Austin, Texas for almost 40 years. He has extensive experience handling his clients’ personal and professional litigation and transactional needs in a wide variety of areas, with emphasis in business and commercial litigation, real estate and construction litigation and transactions, family law matters, and estate probate matters.

Leland has been board certified in Residential and Commercial Real Estate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1994. He has completed mediator training and membership in the Association of Attorney -Mediators is pending.

While earning his B.S. and M.A. in Communication at Oklahoma State University, Leland competed in and later coached the University debate team at national level competitions. He continued to coach debate while teaching undergraduate communication classes at Northwestern Oklahoma State university before attending law school. At the University of Texas Law School, he won the prestigious Hildebrand Moot Court competition judged by members of the Texas Supreme Court, also being named Best Advocate. Leland is a member of the National Order of Barristers.

In addition to bringing his extensive experience and expertise to the client relationship, Leland woks personally with each of his clients, protecting and advising them on creative solutions in court contracts, property, and personal matters.
