Haddad Legal Group concentrates a significant portion of their legal practice on representing parties in commercial and residential real estate transactions.

We represent Sellers and Buyers in the sale OR purchase of real estate, real estate brokerage and real estate development and negotiations.  Racy Haddad has a career spanning over 25 years in the real estate industry, including practice in real estate brokerage, and Leland McKeeman is Board Certified in Residential and Commercial Real Estate Law.

Here is a look at just some of the areas that we practice and the experience we have:

We represent both Buyers and Sellers of residential and commercial property. From negotiation, to contract execution to closing, we are there. Our legal team can help you negotiate the transaction on the front end with terms that are beneficial to you. Thereafter, we’ll assist you in conducting your due diligence under the contract. Ultimately we will streamline the process and documentation through closing including reviewing the contract, dealing with inspectors, reviewing and clearing title issues, negotiating on terms that are discovered during feasibility and reviewing and drafting your closing documents. No matter how large or small and no matter where you are in the process, we are there with you.

Every lease is different and involves key terms which oftentimes, clients don’t fully understand. This is where we can help. We represent landlords, tenants, and lenders in office leases, retail leases, industrial leases, ground leases and residential leases. We will negotiate on your behalf before you execute a lease or handle any lease issues once you have a signed lease. We help clients in routine to complex leasing matters whether they are transactional or in the event there is a lease dispute or pending litigation.

Property is often affected or encumbered by deed restrictions, easements or other issues related to the title to the property. Our legal team has experience in evaluating simple to complex title issues, reviewing title commitments and title policies and clearing any title issues which may affect your property. As part of our legal team, Racy L. Haddad has a breadth of experience reviewing and resolving title issues for sellers, buyers, lenders and parties to litigation. She holds an Escrow Officer’s license with the Texas Department of Insurance the entity responsible for regulating the title industry in Texas.

Haddad Legal Group represents the interests of real estate brokers, real estate agents, sellers and buyers. Racy L. Haddad was a licensed real estate agent in the State of Texas for over a decade before becoming a real estate attorney. She also has been an approved instructor for Mandatory Continuing Education Legal and Ethics for the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC). As a result, understanding brokerage issues, duties and ethics is a key practice for us.

Understanding finance can be tough. At Haddad Legal Group, we can advise you on a simple or complex financing structure that will best suit your short and long-term goals and protect your interest in property. We also will advise you on your rights with regard to your role in the financing a transaction. We represent individuals and businesses that are lenders, owners, developers, and subcontractors.
